Fight Club is the only movie I know of that's set in Delaware. I don't think they ever mention its name, but you can tell from the nearby towns they name and the whole "credit card capital of the world" thing.

I know I just replied to your comment to my comment, but I just wanted to say that if #126 was phrased like that, I wouldn't have said anything. However, the way it was phrased makes it seem like OP was only offended by Russia/Lithuania because "its history was real". Judging from what I've seen and heard, the fandom is pretty irreverent about these things. Why does OP not mention all the other squick-worthy ships in Hetalia? It just struck me as an instance of "Fandom's moral compass should conform to mine".

110- I am from Ohio so I can relate. Usually it is New York, Los Angeles and maybe Chicago that are settings of movies and tv. I think an episode of Supernatural was set in my Ohio hometown. I like it when the cities that I have lived in our mentioned. I like it best when the show is actually filmed there and it is not just Los Angles pretending to be that place.

126 - My country has had a pretty shitty and bloody history as well, mostly involving the countries fans often ship her with (hell, she's canonically in love with one of them). And this may make me an insensitive monster, but I couldn't care less. It's fantasy, it's not meant to offend and it doesn't hurt anyone. It's your prerogative to find it irreverent and be offended but if you feel very strongly about your country and its history then chances are this fandom is not for you.
