It kinda invalidates your defense of Marie since it gives the impression you can't like one without b*tchslapping the other, and I say is as someone who HAS defended Marie from bashing (because how DARES an Action Girl do something else than fighting) and loves both her and Soma. >_>

I do think though there is a point, where Marie is not really doing much at all right now and is just standing around, when she was Soma she was at least doing things that actually affected the plot, it is not that she isn't fighting that people have a problem with it is that she isn't really doing anything of importance or note (and it isn't like she is being developed or on screen enough to counter that)

I am not a fan of bashing, but in a show that is about people doing things in mobile suits or guiding troops or whatever then yeah people aren't going to be interested in the people doing housework, unless said housework is you know actually important.

Most of Gundam 00's women are right now just standing around and are doing nothing or are nothing more then their jobs, and aren't in the middle of things. It has nothing to do with being kickass or Action Girls, but these characters actually getting chance to actually do things that matter in the plot and the series as opposed to just being relegated to observers.

There's nothing wrong with being asexual, although it can make seeing all the SEX SEX SEX stuff like... everywhere in fandom really tiresome. Not liking slash or sex scenes doesn't neccesarily mean you are asexual, though.

135. To be honest, sex scenes do nothing for me, but there are certain nonsexual things that show me that I'm not the misnamed "asexual." Maybe there's something that turns you on that isn't actual sex.

147. It can't be helped that the Psyren scanlator(s) are faster. The Sket Dance scanlation team seems to be picking up the slack recently. Have you seen the two recent chapters, OP?

165. Fandoms aren't meant to be something we hold forever. When it's time to move on, you know. The nice thing though is you can continue to enjoy the series without being an active fandom member. Most of us can tell when people are faking it, and it at least makes me sad when I see someone faking it in fandom. Fandom is supposed to be fun, not an obligation.

Hey, I'm extremely sexual with an incredibly high libido and I've watched all of the L Word and Queer as Folk and not a single sex scene turned me on. The only one that came close was when Dana Delany sucked Jennifer Beals's finger and they were clothed and it never went further than that.

Just...relax. Don't feel like you need to base your sexuality on whether sex scenes in television turn you on or not.

112- ...that's a really odd, arbitrary things to choose to decided someone has race issues, and I REALLY think it reflects back more on your race issues then theirs. Even though I "pass" I didn't choose the icon cause the character was black, I choose the icon cause I liked the icon and the character.

126- Ok, I think the Hetalia hate is silly, but REALLY. Being like "Oh, it's all ok...except when it's MY country." Not cool.

168- I KNOW, HUH. It took me about 2 seconds of being around a Hetalia fan to figure this out, and I didn't even CARE that much. You would think if people cared enough to get upset and make secrets they could bother to find out.
