104) As someone who spent her undergraduate career studying Japan and who now works for a Japanese organization... agreed. Japan is NOT some amazing place where everything is perfect, nor is it exactly like what you see in anime and manga. It's got its faults and flaws just like any other country, and you're doing yourself no favor if you blind yourself to them.
