137 - I totally agree. I think attraction depends on the person, not as much on the gender as people like to think it does. There are exceptions to every rule, and all that. (Although, tbh, I only agree with the second part of the secret; I don't always think of fictional characters as pansexual.)

166. I will go out on a limb with you and agree that it's a necessity for all fans to believe in a line between ficiton in reality. (I know I've certainly written plenty of things in fiction that I would never support or condone in real life, like rape and incest.) That said, if you openly say you're against rl equality for gays, you're going to piss off a lot of people because fandom is a self-selected population -- and a lot of us who write slash ARE gay and lesbian. You may have a fetish for slash; for some people, it's a real life thing too.
