137. I can't wrap my mind around someone who thinks that there really aren't people who just aren't that concerned about sex, or who simply don't find one sex or another attractive. And frankly, "pansexual" sounds more like someone willing to screw anyone (or anything). I can name a few actresses I find hot. Admittedly, I wouldn't be interested in doing anything with them (in magical never-neverland), but if I was, that would make me bisexual, not pansexual.
Frankly, the "pansexual" bent in fandom pisses me off, because y'know what...some people really do just prefer one or the other, and some people even don't have sex that high on their priority list.
Sorry, but that secret came off as really freaking arrogant. I mean...Seriously?

To be fair, much as I love Mickey and agree that Rose didn't treat him so well when she came back, in the first episode, after she nearly got blown up, he suggests going to the pub because he wants to watch the match. He's an awesome guy. But until the Doctor showed up and shook things up, he seemed pretty willing to be, well...not much.

137. Amen. I'm one of those people who doesn't have a sex drive - it's more of a sex amble - and am also, therefore, invisible. I simply don't get the "admit you're bi/pansexual" thing going on. Is it a genuine attempt to make people more comfortable with their sexuality, or an odd attempt to deny other legitimate orientations? I just think everyone should be allowed to define their own.

I never watched the anime, just read the manga in middle school, and I couldn't believe they didn't get together in the end. Not to mention that fandom seems nearly dead, so I can't find anything about them.

But, did that Tisha girl from the manga show up in the anime? Because it seemed like they pulled her out of their ass (I mean Orphen didn't think of her in ANY of his flashback scenes? Ever) as a way of countering the Orphen/Cleao that was rapidly taking over.

I kno that they don't have to be long, but I feel as if the expectation there is greater than what is actually is. Not to mention, if you write something that isn't more than 4 parts, you'll only ever show up on anon_press once. And people fill so much on that meme.

Pffft, the requests are old, bland and dead. I mean, I only ever made two requests (that weren't crack), and they're both on Part 1. I appreciate the gesture, though.

When I say recognition, I don't mean de-anonning myself. I mean that people reply with more comments and such. As in, more than one comment. Let's face it, the PW meme is so big that no one is going to be able to see everything, especially if it's some tiny 1 to 4 parter. Or art.

You should! :) All I know of Magali Luyten is that she was on an Ayreon song (there's a making-of/interview clip from Ayreon's last album somewhere on Youtube with her in it too), and she's in two other bands - Beautiful Sin (which I highly recommend) and Virus IV (which I wish had more songs out there). She's got a very awesome voice.

I think everyone on here who has said "Why is X on there?" pretty much just proved what I think you were trying to say. The people who write and draw anime and manga create awesome, kickass female characters and then there will come the arc where these amazing women are made powerless so that the male protagonists can rescue them. It's infuriating.

I have however found really great women characters in some very unlikely places. The women in Kyo Kara Maou are all awesome-- yes, all of them. Even women who are basically only there for one or two episodes are awesome. True they are also all secondary characters (but that's part of the point, as the show is satire) but the more I think about it the more female characters I can think of. I think it's one of the reasons that, although my anime period was short, this show has stuck with me.
