179. l-lol i'm actually really happy with how they've been doing chuck and blair's relationship? it fits the characters, in my opinion. plus with the latest episode i actually ship it less - but happily so, not because the writers suck - since blair has told him she's giving up and chuck has a family to learn to love and accept now. i'm genuinely pleased by how they're taking chuck/blair because they're totally the on again/off again thanks to blair's love for chuck and chuck's inability to commit. i'm more irritated that they had nate put vanessa over his best friend twice now tbh. >:

Personally, I generally don't like it when they play different nationalities too. Mostly because they never get it right and fall back on stereotypes. And the accents, oh, how the accents suffer.

Well for me anyway, I sometimes worry when things I love get too popular because you become removed from it in a way. like I like it when bands still play at small venues because I like the intimacy. As for fandoms I don't like fans that look at something in an overtly shallow way, particularly if it almost dumbs down the series. Luckily most of the fandoms I'm in are excellent and I love a lot of people there. Sure I'll get angry at the fans that say the characters aren't hot enough for them or write retarded fic, but they're so small in numbers that I don't mind.

118. Of course because that's part of what creates some of the fans (I mean a lot of anime popularity here grew from one side, pokemon, the other from hentai) But same with american tv/film and what have you. Sex sells in general.

138. I agree with this to the point that I feel that it puts down women/heterosexuality in a bad way. Glorifying homosexuality is okay because it is shunned by regular society, but I don't like how women are treated so badly because of it.

161. When I find series that have women that actually succeed in this light, I love it irrationally. I hate that it exists like this in mostly everything outside of animanga. Video games, tv, movies, books, etc... Also play suikoden. Seriously... there are a few women in each of the games that are far cool. (Like Chris from 3, Kika from 4, Lucretia from 5, etc...)
