That being said, it always seems the artist notices more mistakes than the viewer... (that's been the case for me, at times.)

134. You know, I've never really understood why people equate "Prince Charming," with "Waiting around to be rescued." The original Cinderella story and a number of similiar fairytales from around the world star clever, capable young women who worm their way into their Prince's heart through their own power. 168. I haven't come across any Jun haters (hell, I haven't come across any Innocent Sin players at all), but I do agree that his story is very tragic. He was manipulated to believe that his best friend (and lover if you go that route) helped kill off his mother figure/sister. I love this kid. Even though I haven't finished the game yet (fuck you college) I really find him very fascinating. Though I do think the game could have fleshed out his character a whole lot more (but Persona games tend to do that). ♥

I think it's because when you spend a lot of work on something, and especially after you've revisited it after a while, you see what mistakes you've made, what you could have done better, etc. -- things almost everyone else won't notice or point out. Saying things like that, then, is sort of an escape valve, a way to shore up one's own confidence. But yeah, oftentimes it is sympathy-trolling, and it's not the kind of thing people ought to be doing. If you really think it's crap, work on it some more and don't post it until you just can't work on it any more.
