168. That's because most people who are Persona fans are only fans of 3 and 4. They may have heard of the older games but don't know much about them and probably haven't even tried to play them. I'm glad that more people area becoming aware of the games though. The people who are in it as a fad will eventually fade and we'll be left with maybe something close to an actual fandom instead of the same 15 people over and over. :D

Also, while Innocent Sin is now far more accessible than it was a few years ago it's not that crazy for someone to not know who Jun is. Now, if they've claimed to have played all the games then it's pretty dumb.

119. It's more of a "every artist is their own worst critic", and seeing art that's better. I draw all right, but I still think my stuff sucks while others say it's good even. It's not fishing for compliments. I'm just upset with it (although I am trying to improve).

115 - I'm the same way. I really just am not attracted to those pairings. I don't hate pairings because they're m/m, nor do I dislike the people who ship them, not even people who only ship slash. I personally just don't like slash. It's just the way it is.

122 - You know humanity has reached its lowest point when people will lynch you for liking Scrappy Doo.

127 - I thought Hetalia was boring too. I thought it would be interesting with all the historical references, but it ended up being a huge letdown for me.

145 - THANK YOU. I ship SasuSaku too, but I think this can apply to my attitude towards shipping in general. Why do people care what other people ship? I can understand expressing dislike of something and even debating it, but people take it too far. I don't like it when people tell me why I ship something either. I'm a shallow fangirl? I didn't know that. Thank you for revealing that little tidbit to me, even though you've never met me, have never spoken to me, and the only thing about me that you really know is what pairing I like. I feel enlightened.

YES YES YES.

I don't care if people want to debate the logistics of SasuSaku with me, or simply don't care for either the characters, or the pairing. It's the half of fandom that seems stuck in the mindset that Sakura, and her feelings for Sasuke, have not changed at all, or matured in anyway, since the first time they met. The half of fandom that drops witty comments like "Sakura's love for Sasuke isn't blind--all she cares about is his looks!" all over my fics when the truth is in canon, it has been hammered home time and time again that the truth is completely opposite to that. The half who think Sasuke has shown no feeling of caring, hell even simple camaraderie, towards her throughout the entire manga.

Wow, uh, that was long. I've just been holding that in for a while, sorry.

119: welll..... as a fanartist who does that sometimes, allow me to defend myself. If I think a drawing is ABSOLUTE shit, I won't put it on the internet. But sometimes I'll like enough of the drawing to post it, but theres something I feel like I did wrong, not terrible enough not to post but its not as great as other artists out there. Thats the thing, we are CONSTANTLY comparing ourselves to other artists, even though we know we shouldn't. so we draw to get better, but we aren't there yet, and meanwhile there are other much better artists out there so we end up belittling ourselves. Sometimes maybe it is a fish for compliments, but I think sometimes its also a subtle way of asking for polite criticism.
Artists are a moody bunch.
