However, a) I've seen a number of fans of color discuss the issue, b) it's not just this one show, it's a pattern, and c) I object to the notion that you have to either drastically prioritize your issues or that you can only have one at a time. Why do people insist on saying things like "why do you care about x when you should care about y" and acting like all social issues are mutually exclusive?

In conclusion: NO.

162. I generally can't read fic that has a number of typos. One or two are totally okay and human (and can slip past even multiple betas) but I find once it gets more frequent it usually corresponds to the quality of fic. Plus, it really distracts me.

Seriously. If we "go in order," then it's going to be a long, long time before anyone gets to the "little things." Probably never. But there's a lot of people in the world with a lot of different passions. We should let people tackle things that are close to home for them rather than trying to force them into things.

You know, I'd never really thought of that, but I'm liking the idea of Peter/Astrid. And I totally agree that they really aren't using Astrid to her full potential. It annoys me greatly. I feel like she needs to have a bigger role than just giving Walter strange condescending looks (basically).
