I work in a bookstore and there is a fairly recent Stalin biography that has that photo on the cover and everytime I see it I think "Ooh, nice. AGH. Stop that, it's STALIN, ffs!"

122. I made it about 200 pages in or whenever the whole "I'm so clumsy that I know I'll fall so I won't even try to run away from the rape" scene happened. It was just so stupid and, yes, boring.

You know, I had that "phase" as well, where I was really into anime and yes, I watched ones like Inuyasha that are crappy and have a hell of a lot of filler in them, and no, I typically don't watch anime anymore. HOWEVER, there are a few anime that I've seen over the years that I still love and adore, BECAUSE of the emotional depth. For example, Full Metal Alchemist, Trigun, Wolf's Rain (just to name a few) all were incredible shows with intense exploration into different characters and ranges of emotion. So please, don't be so judgmental and tune down the assholiness, mkay?

146- I actually have never come across a writer like that, but... *high fives* I support this secret.

There's nothing at all wrong with keeping your fandom and your parents separate!

It's not cowardly, it's just saving them the shock and horror of having to realise you're not two anymore. :D (Personally, my mother lost her reading-my-writing privileges when I was about 14, and she totally overreacted to a completely innocent scene that she read over my shoulder. If she flipped at imaginary smut, I can just imagine what she'd think now that I'm writing the real thing...)

I don't know how old you are, but honestly -- at some point your parents no longer have a right to know everything that's in your head. Keeping them out of certain things is totally okay; it's like having a locked diary when you're 12. :D

I track threads that my secrets are in, and even though none of the ones you replied to are mine, I have to say, I love it when people reply to old threads for some reason :D

FINALLY, SOMEONE APPRECIATES MY WORK.

I look at it months late when I'm bored on some nights, of course.

:P Just kinda annoys me that online, you're supposed to forget everything after a few days.
Hell, I'd still be happy if some of my secrets from when I first joined were still replied to! (I think that was around October or something)
