Agreed. I wonder how shocked some of these people would be to realize that even some of their favorite authors used to write terrible fic and fanfic while they were still learning. Good books do not just spring directly from the skull of Zeus; every author starts somewhere.

Okay kidding, you shouldn't feel bad about liking Gwen/Lancelot -- really. They had mad sparks in his episode, it even made me a little giggly. I just want him to go far away because this Gwen doesn't strike me as an adulteress, even a future one. And I don't want anyone breaking up my awesome foursome. Unless he wants to join in.

In which case, have at it.

But yeah, I definitely do ship Gwen/Morgana; theirs is the most beautiful relationship on the show so far, because there's so much trust and they'd do just anything for each other and there is flower-picking. And they're just so damn pretty. XD

As for the adultery thing, that worries and upsets me, too. I...TRY NOT TO THINK ABOUT IT TOO HARD, TBH. I like fics where it's a shaaam marriage with Arthur/Merlin and Gwen/Lancelot. I can have my legend and eat it, too. (Mixing metaphors--something I'm allowed to do while anonymous.)
