My husband loves that show - and he still needs to get season 4 on dvd. I might have to see if I can turn it up for his birthday.

(Personally, I never saw the appeal past the first season.)

The image was just one of the first to come up when I imagesearched "anime." And, obviously, I was being deliberately inflammatory--there are exceptions, as emotional depth goes, Ghost in the Shell being one of them (which I have seen, actually, and enjoyed). On a whole, though, I stand by the secret.

I see Ducky/Gibbs more than I see Tony/Gibbs. Tony/Gibbs have more of a father-son relationship, just like JD and Cox on Scrubs, which I've never been able to see. Unfortunately, most Tony/Gibbs father-son fics suck. I can also see Abby/Gibbs, although that's a little weird to me.

I tried to see it in a different context; that Gotham City is a place that is more or less always on the edge of slipping into anarchy, hearing that the one person they could look to as a "beacon" did what Harvey did would be that one last push. Deliberate hyperbole, dear. Obviously there are exceptions, and like I said, I had the anime-obsessed phase, so I can't say I never gave it a chance. I stand by the secret--especially in RL, where I've met a total of one anime fan I'm not completely appalled by.
