I actually have seen most of these, and will admit that I was exaggerating/overgeneralizing in the secret (I'm ridiculously paranoid of being tl;dr in my secrets, so always end up erring on the super short side)--but on a whole, I stand by what I said.

I will say that both Cowboy Bebop and Gunslinger Girl are excellent (I'd lump the second half of Kenshin, FMA, and Wolf's Rain into the not-much-redeeming-value category though, sorry. Difference of opinion though, I suppose).

As another member of capslock_zutara, I have to admit I was pretty "WTF??" over that image too. I mean, I get why it was posted (they are the same age as Aang and Katara), but at the same time I'm like, "Why?" This really has nothing to do with Avatar, at all. Yes, they are the same age as Aang and Katara, but Aang and Katara would never do something like that. At least not at the age they are in the show.
