I love Kefka Palazzo.

Thing is, Sephiroth's portrayal in FF7 and all the supplements (seriously, SquareEnix, you are pumping out the sequels like Land Before Time, what the hell? I mean Crisis Core was cool, but it's just funny how FF7 won't die)

Sorry OP, but Kefka's portrayal in FF6 is really one-dimensional

But all the snippets about his past, even his actions in-game, make me curious about what he was like before, and it seems like there's so much more there, just like Sephiroth. So I say they're even.

But I've only found a couple fanfics about him. They were chilling, no question.

In a way he's more frightening than Sephiroth, because he enjoys inflicting pain so much.

He kinda reminds me of the Joker

I sort of like Olbermann because I think he's got a heart and I agree with some of the things he says, but that doesn't mean I don't recognize that he can be a complete arse and that he's in no way objective. 127. I'm divided on this issue. Part of me agrees with you hard, and I feel like barfing every time I see a waifish, helpless, submissive "uke." The other part of me is like "Wow, it's so overdone with female characters, it's kind of refreshing to see it on a guy" (when he's actually a TOLERABLE, believable uke, not a whimpering idiot 24-7).

Nobody's fooling themselves that the slash we write/draw/enjoy bears any more resemblance to gay male relationships than lezbo porn being fapped to by a bunch of basement-dwellers actually resembles real lesbian couples. 109. What I loved most about that scene was that they used Carvaggio's Doubting Thomas painting, which, depending on who's analyzing it, was very vulgar and erotic for the time. There are a ton of famous Doubting Thomas paintings but to use that one, both composition-wise and symbolically, was a very interesting move for the show.

I agree. KO and Bill-O deserve each other, and if I ran things, I'd jettison both of them onto a deserted island where they'd have to learn to get along with each other in order to survive, and maybe stfu about each other for ten seconds.

First off, don't lump all slash and yaoi fans together; not all slash fans like yaoi and vice versa.

Secondly, information is your friend. I'm going to assume that you've only been exposed to yaoi (despite saying you hate slash), and that's not all that's out there. To be honest, I've read plenty of gay fiction written for gay men by gay men, and even in many of those stories, the characters' actions and reactions aren't all that different from some of what's being written in fandoms. Maybe you should do a little more research before casting the entire lot into the fire.

Finally, way to be judgmental and close-minded. It kind of reminds me of all the militant liberals who claim to be totally free-thinking and "outside the box" when, really, they're just inside another, more hypocritical box.

My advice? Just fucking relax and get over yourself. It just seems wasteful making yourself look so...stunted.

I love writing slash, and to me slash and gay is not the same. Slash is a woman thing, no matter how welcome men are as writers and readers.
I don't care for the seme/uke stuff, don't do weepy males and sometimes the most dominant one in a relationship isn't the one on top. ;-)

Btw, most is a question of quality in writing anyway.
