I just want to discuss my fandoms, read and write fic, and have fun. But the crap that Catholics (and Christians in general) gets in fandom irritates me to no end. And I am annoyed at the fandom's constant bashing of Mai and her fans. So I guess we cancel each other out.

Also, not that it really matters. But I read that scene as Mai trusted Azula enough to figure that she would have a plan that would bring her brother back safely. She doesn't have perfect judgement, and she didn't intentionally trade her brother away. But if there was a way to get him back without giving up a powerful bender then she would trust Azula to do it.

101. It kinda bugs me when anyone says this about any long-running character with multiple actors. Doesn't matter if it's James Bond or Doctor Who or the Joker. The character was around long before so-and-so popular actor, why should they never appear on screen again when the actor gives up the series? (Or dies, for that matter.)
Plus, who's to say it's just the actor that has made the recent films good? Maybe it's the directors being used? The writers? Actors don't make a movie alone.
