103- B/K are mad hot. But mostly, they're mad hot when Keller's fighting to get him back in season 3. That first conversation when Toby gets back to their pod? Ridiculously awesome. I LOVE a bitter, snarky, vicious Beecher. Oh, and season 4, the story about the Christ tattoo, and that last exchange- "You better take care of where you stick your dick, that baby's lethal." "I liked it better when we weren't speaking." Hee! They had a sucky ending, but I don't think that kind of relationship ever had a chance of ending well. Sigh.

Er... they are? Or at least I've seen a lot of annoyed comments about it, nevermind that Christian imagery is another thing that's been there forever - character names, episode titles, THE GODDAMN MR. EKO!!!, etc. Don't get me wrong, I loved Eko, he was just the hugest clue that the show was about Judeo-Christian myths as much as, I supose, Buddhist ones (dharma, karma, reincarnation, etc.)

I've been thinking more about this secret, and I know on livejournal and other female dominated forums I've called some "guys" (who I previously assumed were girls doing calling themselves guys to get hit on, though you also mentioned doing it just for the pageviews) "she" deliberately because if they were dishonest lesbian/bi girls it would be a bit of a tease and if they really were dudes then they'd shrug it off, and if they'd try to correct me I'd say "well you're awfully feminine for a guy, haw haw haw".

I completely missed the fact that there would be ftms who might be insecure about their gender as is and I will immediately stop doing that type of stuff. I'm not sure if this is the type of belittling you are talking about or not, but it's something I just realized about my own behavior. Idk.
