I'm twenty, and my two most often watched channels are the Disney channel and Nickelodeon. iCarly is one of my favourites, alongside Spongebob, Wizards of Waverly Place, and The Suite Life. Omg, me too. ;___; I'm actually estatic over the number of people in here that have responded; I wasn't really expecting anyone, honestly!

Speaking of brain breaking glitches, when I was in one of the mummy stages, I somehow got past the eye-things and somehow skipped ahead in the game to Uruk, and bypassed the entire Abydos plot, which meant I couldn't get the damn herb bag which meant I couldn't proceed and had to restart. D: That was...interesting.

Still a brilliant game, though. ;D

Okay, for real, I would not have had that much restraint. I've never heard this song before, but after Googling the lyrics it took all of three seconds to figure it out. I hate being spoken to like an idiot even when I don't understand what's happening, but that shit would have made my blood boil.

I had depression and cancer, and dropped out of fandom for a while - I didn't write anything for five years. I also live in a small town, and there's only one other geek, my girlfriend, so almost all my fannishness is online.

Recovery is not fast, but stay in touch, at least a little bit, even if you're quiet, and one day something will spark your imagination and you'll be participating again. I'm still on anti-depressants (10 years now) but on a stable dose and everything is going well. You are at the worst time right now - your life (and your brain) will get better!

167) Oh that's an old debate on fanficrants. The consensus is that all words describing sex are to some degree awkward, and that the terms people are most comfortable with vary widely. Some people like penis and vagina, others find those way too clinical. Some like euphemisms, others find them silly, some prefer exactly the words you've just labeled as being "not sexy". There is no winning this. My advice to writers is to pick a tone and stick to it.
