If you like your story, and want to lure in more readers, try writing a sequel/prequel - even a ficlet - that involves a more mainstream character from the fandom. I've been doing it for years.

122: I think you misjudge how many people play it solely as a game. I played WoW for about a year. Casually played it, mind you. I couldn't stand the people that became obsessed with it, and I often only played it to fill those gaps in time when there wasn't anything else to do.
And trust me, I tried to find ANYTHING else to do.
I quit WoW before the Lich King, simply because I didn't feel like paying money for something I wasn't really having any fun with. That and I didn't have the 5 gigs of memory required for the pre-LK patch.
Old laptop is old.

You, dear sir or madam, are the one taking it too seriously. I played it, stopped playing, and can't ever see myself going back. It was a horrible game, and I would prefer playing Superman 64 before ever reinstalling WoW. However I still have friends that play the game, and although I dislike WoW, we can all still joke around about it and laugh at our experiences.

tl;dr: You're an overly-judgmental bitch who needs to learn how to properly prioritize the qualities in a person before spitting bile.

123: I saw the movie first, skim-read the book after. I vastly prefer the movie, and can't ever fathom myself reading the book. Pointless pirate comic, and giant alien squids are not superior story telling.

I am a friend (yes, a real friend) of Sere, and I can tell you with out a doubt, that she has left us. We are all shocked, crushed and devastated. Try showing just a little compassion - you never know - someone WILL call you on it.

She was a wonderful woman, talented writer, good friend and caring person. She is missed and loved but her spirit lives on in her writing and those people she touched.

First of all, I see grammar fail. This irks me. Is it that hard to read over what you said to make sure you got it right?

Secondly... Where do I even start? Let's start by listing the causes as to why your friend may be opposed to skirts:
1) She hates skirts.
2) She's actually transgender. (*GASP!*)
3) She's going through a gender identity crisis.

In the case of 1, deal with it. Some women hate pants. Some men hate boxers. So what if your friend is violently opposed to skirts? Did it ever occur to you that maybe our society's rigid gender binary is the reason she's saying these things? You're not helping.

In the case of 2 or 3, you'd be a better friend if you were more supportive. As it is, I just see you as a bitch. And ignorant. I have a vagina, too, but that doesn't make me a girl. Genitalia does not make boys and girls - it makes males and females (and everything in between). Society makes boys and girls, and sometimes females are boys, and sometimes males are girls. And guess what? Just as you don't think it would be comfortable to be in a man's body, maybe your friend isn't comfortable with being in a female body. Just because you think being a chick is something ~*TOTALLY AWESOME*~ doesn't mean everyone is on board with you.

It's okay, sweetie! I'm American, too, and I often have to deal with having to find/watch/etc. Who episodes too. I'm a night owl, so the late-night stuff doesn't bother me, but I do know that it normally comes on in the evening on BBC America (on digital cable). There are other places, so PM me to get a fuller list.

Also: AAAH! You suck! I want your mom! My mom still thinks Doctor Who is the same as it was in the 70s when she watched ONE episode and didn't like it! (I did get my sister to watch it, though, which makes me a happy Whovian!)
