117. I think you answered your own question there. It's not everybody's kink. It's not my kink, so I don't read it. Doesn't mean I don't think it should exist. And so what if I find the relationship between guys more interesting to read about than the relationship between women and choose my reading material based on that? It doesn't make me a misogynist (though, some would have you believe it does). Not that the last part was specifically directed at your secret, but it's a related attitude that pisses me off.

I just wanted to throw in my two cents and say that I think this secret is kind of ridiculous. It's fine if the poster isn't into YGO!TAS or Scribbler's fanfiction, but it's hardly like either littlekuriboh or scibbler asked for the attention- both are entirely humble about their work and frequently thank their fans. Furthermore, I think the extent to which the poster seems to think they're regarded is exaggerated- certainly they are loved by their fans, but we're not talking BNF's on the level of Cassandra Claire here. Either way, I think the poster has some entitlement issues and I personally feel like using the real life pictures of both, posted on the internet though they were, was in bad taste.

For me, I just have a really hard time seeing Sheldon as a sexual being. Which, I'm sure sounds horrible. Maybe part of it is that we've never seen him having any sort of interest.

Then don't fake it. The true stereotype of girl gamers these days is that they fake an interest in games they don't actually like to look more like "real" gamers. So if you're faking it, then yes, people are going to look down on you for it. If you don't want to be looked down on, then just be truthful about what you actually like.

This is coming from the OP of the last girl gamer secret. My problem was never with the "stereotypical" girl gamer. My best friend only likes the games you're describing and that's 100% okay. I like them too. Different strokes for different folks. But if you're going to fake what you like to try and not be categorized with that stereotype, you're only making the case for you to be stereotyped that way stronger.


Just be yourself and like what you like. Nobody is gonna fault you for that. All of those games are amazing, and if someone looks down on you for liking them then it's their loss.

If you're lying about what you like, you're entering the exact stereotype you're trying to avoid. That's when people are going to have a problem with you. People generally don't like being deceived. So it's simple: don't. Just be yourself.
