Don't you just love the implication here that this writer is somehow OBLIGATED to improve, and if they don't, there's something wrong with them? Oh, and self insertion and wishfullfillment are ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN, of course! How dare this person have so much fun? It's offensive and in poor taste!

Unless they're being a douche about it, WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU CARE? (And even if they are, I wouldn't even hold it against them that much, because YOU ARE GIVING THEM SHIT FOR NO GOOD REASON.) It's THEIR story, not yours, and if the author refuses to write it in a way that suits you, SUCK IT UP.

There ends my rant against entitled reader-reviewers everywhere. I'm a writer myself so this would be worth a secret of its own, but I'd just get told to "take it to the comments" anyway.

128. (Is this a repeat?) There's nothing wrong with that--m/m just isn't your kink. There's plenty of m/m fic out there that's not about smut, and plotty fic where the smut is skippable, and even gen/pre-slash focusing on m/m friendships.
