129. Obviously you know nothing about him since he isn't a bland character and if you bother to get to know him then you would see he is a complex character. I understand there's a lot of crappy stories with him (all characters get crappy stories) and a lot of writers don't know how to write him but get guys like Grant Morrison, Geoff Johns, Neil Gaiman and Alan Moore (heck even Garth Ennis! no.1 superhero hater) and you'll have some fantastic stories. I admit I used to dislike Superman myself but I picked up his comic and I read some of his good stuff and I liked him. Oh and I don't judge you for liking Mr. Mcangsty or whoever you like so please don't threaten me for my like of Superman, thanks :).

137. I'm with you 100% although I didn't really care either way for Evo Rogue, but yeah Wolverine and the X-Men Rogue and Movie Rogue really get on my nerves. Southern Bell 90's Rogue is the best!

Spend a week in the fandom and you'll know more than you ever knew was possible... and more than you ever wanted to. BUT OH I LOVE IT.

I get what you're saying here... slash is written and enjoyed primarily by women, so we should only need to please ourselves. However, when I read/write slash, I'm mostly concerned with realistic characterization... which requires an accurate portrayal of how real men would behave. I admit I prefer it as realistic as possible, but I would never comment on someone's fic just to say "men don't act like this" even if I felt it was true. There's enough fandom to go around, I'd rather just go find something else to read if I don't like something. :)

I love how everyone thinks women immediately give up their independence and identity the MOMENT they get married, settle down, and have kids. You do know you can be a wife, have kids, and still be your own woman, right?

114. I hate the fact you can't even be interested in anthro stuff without being a "sick furry". Then again, so many things in the world are judged by vocal minorities, so I guess it's par for the course.

129. I think the big problem is a lot of people don't know how to handle Supes. They get so caught up in the "Truth, Justice and the American Way" aspect of things that they don't deal with everything else that's there. There's great potential in a character who is both a symbol for everyone and, at the same time, an outsider. I just think the writers get hung up with trying to create a bigger physical threat, sometimes.

137. Evo Rogue has such a great character design, I think, and she was a fun character. Watching the old episodes again now, I don't feel like the original X-Men cartoon holds up as well, but I still love Rogue's voice. I think Lenora Zann's right after Nicole Sullivan as my favorite female VA.

Quite a few furries are just in it because anthros and intellectual animals are awesome. I mean, I'm asexual, but I also like to pretend I'm a dragon online and would not be opposed to having a Lurkdragon mask, gloves, and/or tail - thus, furry. Or scaley.

Obviously OP would like to be in the fandom for the sexual aspect, but it's really not that different from "I would do Sephiroth if he were real" or "I'm totally gonna make a Captain Kirk cosplay" or "check it out, guys, I drew myself as if I was a Jedi" or whatever.
