Ok, obviously no one sees that this isn't about being butthurt, just highly annoyed with people who put characters up on a pedistal who need not be up there.

It was a form of suicide; selfishly throwing herself away after leaving him with such a huge weight. Naruto is just getting used to being loved by people and not outcast by them like he was his whole life. And for a girl to admit such feelings would have hit him hard.

I WILL STATE: When the whole ordeal is over and he's all fucked up and in the hospital and healing like usual and she comes forth with her feelings instead of what she did? I would have respected her like crazy.

Don't know about shipping, even though all of my Naruto-ships are het, but I'd still think way more of her.

130 - YES, DAMMIT. And btw the same goes for yaoi/BL/whatever and all that it entails. If it's not realistic it's because it's not supposed to be realistic. It's not that "men don't matter by default" rather it's perfectly acceptable and natural if someone decides she doesn't care about Real Gay Men in her slashfic - that's the point of the whole thing.
Not to mention that Real Gay Men are not a homogenous group, there's no point in making sweeping generalizations about what they're like and not like.

Oh, I agree that their relationship is just plain fucked, but it's unhealthy on BOTH SIDES. Kate's not exactly an angel, either.

Excella... I can stand her, but I don't like her a lot, either. Her role was too short, and she didn't get enough airtime. I bet she would be more awesome if we got to know her more. She looked like a promising character.
However, she was pretty damn foolish to be with Wesker (and try to be with him romantically, orz). If she'd done her homework, she should have known better than to go anywhere near him. :P
