I dunno. Lulu was always too fanservice-y for me to think of her as a really strong woman -- she seemed geared to appeal to the goth-kid fantasy, and little more. But there are plenty of strong women in Final Fantasy. Celes and Ashe (from VI and XII, respectively) immediately leap to mind. I know FF is a little weak on strong women, but seriously. You just have to know where to look.

One character from one game shouldn't ruin you on female characters as a whole. There are plenty strong, independent women, even in video games.

101) For as popular as they've become and the status of "weak thing that's fun to kill en masse", zombies are, when you think about it, quite possibly one of the scariest and most macabre monsters ever. I mean, they all USED to be people, so chances are you're going to run into one you used to know, they still LOOK human, they can't be stopped in any way other than re-killing them or reasoned with, they do nothing but constantly march forward and destroy, and if they catch you, you then become one of them. That's fucking terrifying.

...But SH isn't even remotely a zombie movie. :P

114) I'd have to agree. I can see the appeal of anthropomorphic characters (I'll admit I'm half-furry, myself) but the costumes are just so... Fake. Apart from the fact that they look ridiculous, I'd think that if anything it just reinforces the fact that such creatures don't exist and you should stick with the art/stories.
