Mom sister and I are going to salon and getting hair and nails done tomorrow. Just time together and taking care of ourselves. Other than that, we're just spending time together at home. Sister and brother-in-law are staying with us for the next few days.

Kitty can tell something is going on. She's spent most of today on top of me.

The past couple days have been mentally and emotionally exhausting because of family drama, but it's hopefully over now, so I plan on spending the weekend curled up with blankets (it's supposed to be super cold here), probably reading or listening to podcasts, maybe catching up on some TV.

I just hired a junk hauling company to pick up some household trash by the end of the month. So I'm starting to finally clean out my room.

Otherwise, I might start crocheting a scarf for my uncle.

Pokemon Go Community Day tomorrow. Not too excited about Slowpoke, except that the bonus is 3x catch XP and it's really easy to get excellent throws. Also some of the local players have been coordinating to all use their golden lures downtown at the same time so everyone can rack up coins easily, and they plan to do that just before it starts, so that should be fun.

Beyond that, continuing to make progress on Final Fantasy XIV, but I literally *just* turned it off because a prompt community I'm in has a current prompt going for three more days that... well, it would be a crime if I didn't do something for my OTP, and I'm going to attempt fan art. Heh.

My HEMA club put in an extra 3 hour sparring session so I'll be going to that today. Hopefully I'll get some dual wielding drills in, too.

Sunday is for taking a long walk and maybe do some laundry.

I'll believe it when I see it unfortuantly. Frankly if he was that easy to arrest him it 1. would have been done by now or 2. someone would have killed him. The man is stupidly well protected by his own party.

Just spent another two hours with wacky conspiracy nut coworker. I am exhausted, and have heard too much about Jewish space lasers and secret government hit squads abducting random people for their organs. Pray for me!

After over three months of back and forth because of my broken tablet, I actually got Samsung to agree to repair it at no cost because it was just a short time out of warranty... only to get told that lol nope, we're not doing it after all because the spare part we need can't be ordered anymore. For a tablet that's 2 and a half years old. This is pathetic. And as a consolation, I got a whopping 50€ voucher for their online store (which is technically wort only 25€ because I had to pay 25 for getting a repair cost estimate and it's non-refundable).

And I just looked at their online store- even with the voucher, it would be cheaper to just by a new tablet at a different tech online store.

My boss has said to me it's really hard to train the most junior member of my team in a virtual capacity. This guy has had very little structured training over the last six months, and I've executed over half of it. As a result, this guy cherry picks like it's no one's business. Frankly, I'm pissed that my boss has not more directly handled this deficiency herself. The only reason I'm cutting her any slack right now is because our whole team got shuffled around in a (surprisingly useful) reorg, and I don't want to drop all this on her new boss' head while he's trying to coordinate three different geographies. If things don't improve in a month, though, her boss and I will be having a long chat.

I wish I had sisters who were more affectionate and more...caring/thoughtful. I feel like every person in my life only talks to me because I initiate conversation with them. For the most part, I've become rather OK with it but it still gets to me when it's my family where I feel like the only person putting in any effort is me. And I just...I don't know how to express my feelings without it being combative or passive

I have the sisters that I have, not the ones I want. I can be sad and upset about it but I also have to accept it.
