... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and I'll try my best to use an appropriate image choice. Just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made.

recently bought something shilled by one of the youtube content creators i watch. first time i've done that. felt weird.

tbf the thing i bought was something id already been looking at anyway, and the youtuber's ad was just a reminder and a convenient discount code that supports their channel, so win-win.

still felt weird though.

I don't think the more recent MCU movies have reduced in quality at all. I just think that a large portion of the audience, including reviewers, are MCU-fatigued and that is coloring their reviews.

People talk as if the EU was this amazing, perfect thing. Nope. It had good and bad same as the new movies. The EU also stupidly brought back Palpatine at one point, and it also had Boba Fett survive the sarlacc. So the EU had major flaws too.

Leia/Han used to be my Star Wars OTP. When TFA first came out, I was so, so angry at them being broken up. But with TLJ, suddenly I was massively shipping Leia/Holdo. And that has remained my biggest Leia ship. I don't think I've read Leia/Han ship in years.

Bonus!Secret: Also majorly ship Mon Mothma/Bail and Obi-Wan/Anakin. Why do I want to break up all the married couples in this fandom now?

Thank god that fandom in general has put the trend of idolising aspergers behind it, I got real sick of people claiming every quirky or bright character was a secret aspie and "just like [them]". I put a lot of it down to the Big Bang Theory, if nothing else then it finally killed the love affair for loudly claiming to be autistic among fandom. Thank you, Chuck Lorre, your awfulness paid off.

I still think Superman Returns is better than any of the DCU movies. Annoying that Spacey is in it, but at least he's the villain.

The thing about Percy Weasley which fandom overlooks, is that he was not wrong. His dad was a joke and a buffoon who was dragging the rest of the family down. His younger twin brothers were assholes who caused harm to a lot of people too. If Voldemort hadn't subverted the MoM then Percy would have been completely in the right, and the one who got out. I think he deserves a lot more sympathy from fandom than he gets.

When you take skin color out of the equation, Wakanda becomes a straight up supervillain nation. They are into some seriously childishly evil shit, and we should all start paying more attention to that. I want my African Utopia to be more than a race-flipped power fantasy. I want them to be better than that. They can start by not being a monarchy...

I will always hate the way JMS treated Robert Rusler on Babylon 5. Nobody likes network politics, but being spiteful towards the actors was not the way to handle it.

I keep going back and forth with myself on Guardians 3. On the one hand, more Nebula awesomeness. On the other hand, animal torture. I'm not sure I can watch it. Will probably wait till it comes out on dvd and fast forward those parts, even if it means I miss parts of the plot.

The Star Wars fandom is so obnoxiously fickle. They love things when they first come out and then complain after a little while. Like with TFA where they liked it at first and thought it was better than the Prequels and then changed and decided they missed the Prequels. Even though before that they hated the prequels. And how they loved Obi-Wan when it first came out, but now hate it. And are now hating on the Mandalorian. This fandom is so exhausting.

I ship all kinds of ships. But when it comes to sex scenes, I can only read sex between men and women if the pairing is a threesome or moresome. Otherwise I can only read M/M or F/F sex scenes. I have no idea what it is because I have no problems reading non-smutty fics with M/F ships and I ship a ton of M/F ships.

[Fandom is the webtoon Cursed Princess Club]

I’ve been in fandoms for decades, and yet I haven’t felt more annoyed in a long time with a group of fans than I have with Blaine’s stans. That’s very strange to me, because I’ve been in some toxic fandoms.

They don’t seem to get that just like they can still love him or think he’s nuanced, others are allowed to hate him and think that his possible redemption won’t be as good as others. The redemption arcs they hold up as examples(Frederick and Whitney’s) took time and effort to develop, his would be right before the end. And the others were done with the understanding that forgiveness is not owed just because you want it, and that the person you’re trying to make amends to doesn’t have any obligation to keep you in their life even if they do forgive you. His stans don’t seem to have absorbed any of the messages that the webtoon has been pretty clear about, because they don’t just demand a redemption arc, they want him to be able to pick up where he left off with everyone he hurt and used.

I don’t like Blaine, and that admittedly might be part of the reason this annoys me, although I think could be decent if handled right. But it also feels like his fans ignore every theme of the comic, and anything that would make him look bad.

I'm still sad we never got a Bejeweled 4, or Bejeweled Twist 2. Bejeweled 3 brought so many new modes to the game, and I would've loved to have seen them utilise some of them in a sequel to Twist!

The Bejeweled franchise still exists, but it's only free-to-play mobile games now, since PopCap were bought out by EA. It's nice they still make them, but it just isn't the same.

I really like the dynamic this season without Reid. I do like Reid, don't get me wrong, but he's overrated. Because he was the favorite, he became the focus too often. It is nice to not have one character overly focused on anymore.

I'm amused by the idea of them adapting the later Dune books. Will they even try to do the last two? The last three are just so out there, although I think God Emperor could, possibly, get an okay adaption. The last two? Don't even make any sense in book form. Couldn't make a remotely watchable movie.

Nothing makes me happier than scifi or fantasy where some kind of badass species is also extremely cat or dog-like and we get, say, dragon pets.

I'd love to get into some kind of music fandom. I listen to way more music than I watch anything. But I'm into everything (now even love the two things I used to hate: swing and country), so picking even just a few fandoms would be difficult. And I don't even know where I'd begin. Also, not into RPF at all. I just want to talk about music.

I love Jurassic Park, don't get me wrong (love all of them really). But I'd love to see a new adaption more faithful to the book. The book is darker in a good way. And Hammond being evil is way more interesting.
