We're going the wrong way.

Ok, hollywood is a vacuum of creativity, All they know is remake... But why Live Action remakes of animated classics? Why do a LESS magical and whimsical version of old magical and whimsical movies? Why not take old movies that were limited by the effects of their day and do an ANIMATED version?

I know we're getting wicked soon, but why not a Disney hand-drawn era style animated version of the Wizard of Oz? And the sequel? Hell, if it takes off, do the whole Oz books.

ANIMATE the Harry Potter films? The Percy Jackson series? I remember there was a sinbad movie back in the 2000's somewhere, why just one? Why not Animate all the old movies? All the Ray Harryhausen movies? Clash?

You can accomplish way more by animating Live Action than you can by making live action out of Animation. And all with the same lack of creativity.

if I recall correctly from my time in SW fandom many moons ago, yes, the EU was considered a level of canon for a very long time. Top level canon all the time, the movies, then there were tiers below that - the radio dramas, the EU books, and then the cartoons. I think? I don't remember where EU and radio dramas actually were in rank, but they all ranked ahead of cartoons and comic books.

So, you would in fact be incorrect to claim the EU was never any level of canon at any point. But anyone claiming it was at the same level as the movies is also wrong. I would not be the slighest bit surprised if there was now infighting over whether new movies supersede rank or if the EU was unfairly dis-ranked from canon entirely. If I had any investment in the fandom I probably would be mad that someone somewhere decreed canon un-canon.

Ngl I think it's better and more accurate to acknowledge that common shit like PIV and mdom/fsub are extremely common but not universal kinks instead of treating it like is not a kink at all just because it's normalized and so very common

I know you probably mean you also like F/F PIV and M/M PIV with ABO or trans headcanons too, but it's nice to see 'PIV' being treated as something people kink on as opposed to the default

Metallizer is my least favorite Sabaton album. And I can never decide of the Art of War or The Last Stand are my favorite album. Honestly I love all their albums except Metallizer.
