Reading your secret I was seriously going "are you me?" because I went through a couple years of my life doing a big project with a destructive co-author; I really really know how you feel and it fucking sucks. I finally got to a place where I cared more about my own mental health than about keeping the story together and maintaining my friendship with her and managed to get the fuck out, but it was really hard. I hope you have the strength to stick with it without going crazy, whichever road you decide to take. Because of the epic fail of an SPN J2 BB fic with a similar premise. This (http://amazonziti.livejournal.com/52274.html?format=light) is a good round up of that whole explosion. When people in the SPN fandom that were also in to the Pinto fandom saw that a Pinto fic with Haiti as the backdrop had been out before all that mess and wasn't called out on there was a bit more of an uproar and so the author deleted the fic. From my understanding and what I heard about the fic though is that it wasn't anywhere near the levels of fail as the J2 fic.

Though if I'm wrong about any of this, someone else feel free to correct me.
