I'm not saying that you can't be a Republican in fandom. I'm sure there are many. That's cool. But I refuse to believe that anyone who IS a Republican in fandom wouldn't realize that, you know, the vast majority of fandom is left-leaning and supported Obama. This is just a troll.

Anon, Adam Baldwin is one of my all-time favorite actors, always has been, and always will be. I think he's a wonderful human being with a huge heart.

I also happen to disagree with his politics.

So, does that mean I think he's stupid? No. In fact, I think intelligence has no correlation whatsoever with intelligence. Yes, there are stupid and ignorant Republicans, and there are stupid and ignorant Democrats. There are Republicans with PhD's and Master's Degrees, and there are Democrats with PhD's and Master's Degrees. The point is, I don't think it's fair to judge someone for their political views if those views aren't hurting people.

As an aside, because I know this will be brought up: yes, I'm aware that current Republican policies hurt homosexuals and women. I also know Republicans who don't support a ban on gay marriage and who are pro-choice.
