I'm not familiar with the show or the books, but from two minutes of Google the impression I'm getting is these aren't novelizations -- they're tie-ins, set in the same universe and by the author of the screenplays? Nothing strange about wanting a film version of that.

Baccano! is only 16-episodes long, and has both fantasy and adventure elements. Then there's Durarara!!, which is made by the same production company, and has 24-episodes.

I'm trying to remember other shows I've watched lately that are finished/are fairly short, but I don't watch a lot of anime anymore and also I have terrible memory.

Oh! And Fate/Zero and Fate/stay night.

Instead of thinking you should whiteknight the person, why not just be friends with them online and do something more positive, because whiteknighting doesn't do much and really just makes the anonbashing even bigger and worse.
Honestly if I met a fan online who turned out to be that rude irl if I couldn't unfollow them, I would at least stop talking to them.

Brenda does the Olympics. As lifelong Bond fan I am not ashamed to admit it was way better than Skyfall and its two predecessors. If they'd all had a bit more of that campery and humour then they would have been much better movies.

Is there a way you could politely ask to not receive fanart? Why are they giving you porny stuff in particular?

With the information given I am having trouble deciding how to feel about this, the artist in me is crying at the thought of someone just crumpling up and throwing away art I give someone. But I would never give someone something inappropriate to them either.

I also save all the art given to me, even if an artist is not as "good" as I am I really appreciate people spending their off time making artwork for me.

Back when Creamsicle was a big thing on tumblr, somebody wrote a catchy Ke$ha-inspired pop song about it. It's actually become one of my favourite songs for dancing around to.

Shoujo Kakumei Utena isn't that short (39 episodes IIRC, so not like Naruto-long), but it is hands down my favorite anime series of all time. So that one.

Not really. It was the fandom meetup that created the current situation for the OP, though not the people involved.

It's sort of the same premise as "I don't want to find out too much about this author/artist I like because they will inevitably turn out to be a horrible person".

Are there any good, preferably meta-y fanvids with Dido's White Flag? It's basically a love song to shipping and OTPs.

Also, David Boreanaz wearing a tinhat around the one minute mark. It's a sign that this song is made for meta-y fanvids!

I agree, she's absolutely stunning. In the deleted song scene, "If I Never Knew You", the animator's did it at the end of production, so she's probably at her most beautiful in that scene, it's such a shame it was cut (well, for other reasons as well, it is a beautiful song).
