24--I didn't like Haruhi much for how she sexually harasses Mikuru either. D= I actually probably would've enjoyed her character a lot if she didn't do that, but sexual harassment really bugs me, and taking advantage of people who have a hard time saying no (as I used to be!) really bugs me too. She bugged me enough that I skipped out on watching the show and only watched episodes people told me were particularly good.

I'm not sure about the epilogue but...

I'd be lying to myself if I said there weren't certain scenes she wrote particular ways to get a shipper reaction.

14. I think that show is done in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" style, with live acting and cartoons combined.

...I still don't accept it, though. >> Cartoon Network was my one shining beacon of hope after Nickelodeon went way downhill. Then they stopped making quality cartoons or showing the good oldies. I want SWAT Kats back too. D:

24. Dude! You are not the only one! I had friends raving about how good this was. So I watched it. I watched every single episode. And I hated her. HATED her. I like all the other characters, but I hate her for pretty much the same reasons you stated. She's selfish. She's a self-absorbed bitch who thinks only of herself and her own pleasure and completely tramples the needs of others.

Every time I hear someone saying that "Haruhi is God" I want to smack them over the head. She's a horrible character. She has a lot of Mary Sue qualities and yet somehow people like her. I just don't get it. I'd never want a friend like her. What sort of redeeming qualities are there to Haruhi Suzumiya?

Uhm... If you watched every single episode, then the "Haruhi is God" comments shouldn't really surprise you. Also, how is she a mary sue when the other characters in the series clearly never glorified her for her faults? 0_o

3. it's called Kigurumi. look it up on wikipedia, theres a ton of different kinds, but the one in the secret is "animegao" or anime face. (the same term can be applied to anime models too) Just google a website or two, and some forums have good faqs!

25. I actually rarely complain about the epilogue - except with others who agree with me, though I did dislike it. And it wasn't because my ships didn't work out or any of that, really, for the most part, I just didn't like how every one of Harry's kids were named after a corpse (two were a married couple - I thought that was a little awkward.) And that it didn't mention George. The twins were my favourite characters (Fred was my absolute favourite, as luck would have it) and I was just really wondering what George did with his life.

I also thought it seemed a bit rushed, but I understood that she would've been PROSECUTED if she didn't get it out after a certain amount of time, so that I didn't really get upset about.

But I don't ever run around screaming things like, "GAAAH, THE EPILOGUE SUUUUUCKED" or any of that. Its not like I could've written it any better. :/

I would have enjoyed a bit more closure as well. I am sure in time she'll reveal everyone's fates in interviews. But... that won't be common knowledge as most readers probably don't seek those out.

I still liked it though. Not to say it was perfect... but yeah.

1) I cannot tell you how embarassed I am to have a festival song sung by FROGS on my Zen, but it's there, and got help me if I don't listen to it all the freaking time. @_@ My friends love the music I do too, but I'd be mortified if my coworkers saw what I was listening to on lunch break. >_>

13) There was a time in my life when that show and it's fandom was my whole world. Sailor Moon got me into anime, found me some wonderful friends, and saved my sanity during gradeschool. If I ever met Naoko Takeuchi I just might hug her unprovoked.

16. Orihime is my girl. Thank you for providing the counterpoint to the Orihime-bashing that is way too prolific now -- I love her for being sweet, genuine, real, and human.

So sorry she has boobs, fandom. Learn to live with it. She's actually totally not eye-candy -- she doesn't wear revealing clothes, doesn't flirt with guys, etc. She's a one-man kind of girl.

Um...THANK YOU? 'Bout fucking time someone had the balls to say it. God, I hate that show. It wasn't funny, and the parts that weren't boring as shit just made me hate every single character. Haruhi for being Haruhi, and everyone else for letting her get away with it.

And don't even get me started on the fans.

I also find it disturbing how many people here blame Mikuru in the comp-lab scene for not standing up for herself. Because it's totally the victim's fault for being taken advantage of. *SEETHE*

13. adfdfj are you me? D: I could've written that. I owe so much to Sailor Moon beyond it being my first anime. It was sort of my anchor of sanity for about five years, and I'll probably never ever outgrow it. Love for Sailor Moon! <3

14. GOD, yes. I miss PPG, Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, etc. Remember when Fridays was called Cartoon Cartoon Fridays and the cartoons hosted? Yeah, a million times better than some creepy kid and his "hilarious" friends. 4chan had a field day with that picture.

25. I didn't mind the epilogue (except for the names the kids were saddled with, which were atrocious even for the wizarding world), but what annoyed me was the MASSIVE amount of loose ends that weren't tied up!

Oh I agree that she could have given us more exposition. I would not have wanted her to rattle everything off. That would have been tiring. But... we got a mention of Percy, Draco and Neville. I would like to have known about George and Luna for the least.

1. That happened way too much in high school and college than I'd like to admit. Fortunately I had some songs in English that, in case they insisted on listening, I'd quickly switch to.

14. SIGNED x10000! The only thing that CN is good for now is the rare instances they show Scooby Doo, they shoved even the newer series on Boomerang, and Adult Swim. The instant they added RL hosts I was immediately thinking DO NOT WANT! D:

Don't get me started on the live action movies that have NOTHING to do with cartoons, their horrible excuse for cartoons (except for Foster's which is pretty good), and the fanfare over their "New Live Action series".

16. More Orihime love! Seriously, she's the sweetest character on that show. Why the hate? :< Though I think she deserves someone a LOT better than Ichigo.

24. I’m kinda torn on this one. I like both Mikuru and Haruhi. That scene did make me cringe just a bit and I wished Mikuru grew a spine and got herself out of the situation. That’s until I later figured out why she went along with it. Still doesn’t make it any more or less right.
