Got nowhere else to talk about this, really. Spoilers for the Guy Ritchie movies.

I'm only very peripherally in the Sherlock fandom. There seem to be a lot of complaints about Irene: that she wasn't allowed to be brilliant in her own right (was working for Moriarty the whole time) and had to be saved by Sherlock. So I was kind of surprised when I finally watched the Guy Ritchie movies, and found her working with Moriarty again, and also having to be saved at the slaughterhouse. Though in both Sherlock and the movie she gets to drug him. But then she's killed off in Game of Shadows. I guess I was surprised to see nearly the exact same setup in the movies, plus she dies! Anyway, I'm curious. Do the Guy Ritchie movies get the same fandom outrage over the treatment of her character that Sherlock fandom does? Or am I missing how the setup of the movies is different (because it seems the same to me, as far as how Irene is treated by the text)?

I just encountered two people I know bantering like old friends. Last I talked to one of them, she was furious at him and claimed she never wanted to even hear about him again. This isn't contradictory, because a) it's been four months and b) she has been known to go back on her claims of "I'll feel this way forever and ever" before. But for some reason it turns my stomach to see the two of them.

I have a small list of possible reasons for why it bothers me, but who even knows which one it is. I just hope they haven't become close friends again, because that worked out so well the last few times. (Translation: drama that blew up not just in their faces, but in the faces of damn near every one of their mutual acquaintances.)

I'm not going to ask them what's going on. I'm not going to talk to them about each other. I'm going to stay out of it this time. I'm even going to tear my eyes away from their ongoing conversation. I'm going to try...

Kid! Loki question

So I want to start reading the Kid!Loki comics, but I am having a hard time figuring out what the comic numbers are.

I have Journey Into Mystery numbers 622-642 right now. Is that the whole story? Or do I need to get my hands on more?
