I am so pumped for the movie. The trailer looked amazing. (Godzilla fan since I was single digits.)

I sort of agree? Like if there's a guy or gal with superpowers that allow them to have a practically invincible body where it doesn't matter what they expose, then I don't care if they show their abs, cleavage, butt, etc.

But for the average human being walking around in a fighting suit that's showing a lot of their legs, torso, cleavage, or other really exposed body part? That shit annoys me to no end. All I can think about is how easily it would be for a criminal to plant a knife right into their ribcage or what ever body part their exposing. There really is no point to them having this impractical costume other than for fanservice.

It would also be nice to have more average human being super heroines resemble real women athletes who keep their body in top shape. A lot of them have an athletic, tone build with very little body fat, meaning not a lot of boobage going on.

Lately there have been some strange arguments about slut-shaming in complaints of these things. Which makes no sense because these are fictional characters with no autonomy that is being affected by unfair societal pressures, but that doesn't stop those arguments.

Tell me what you like about yourself, FS

Can be something physical, mental, or anything else. Just tell me something you like about yourself.

Jennifer Lawrence

During an interview she called Christian Bale Fatman because he put on a lot of weight for the role he was in when she kissed him. It was basically I wanted kiss Batman and instead I got Fatman and tumblr exploded. That it was a joke is irrelevant because she fat shamed him and she's evil and must die.

I'm in the UK and it really varies. We tend to get ours in my area anywhere between 11:30am and 1:30pm. I did once get our post at 4:30pm from a postie who looked suspiciously like Barney Rubble (but it WAS just before Christmas, so no wonder it was late!)

"According to director David Russell, Lawrence was so incensed about the situation, she complained to him.

"I finally get to make out with Christian Bale and he's a really fat guy," she apparently said.

"He's Fatman, not Batman.""

That sounds like it was a secondhand story and possibly a joke?

Looking for a plot line thread

(Anonymous) 2014-03-05 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
The other day someone posted a comment about a plot line in Marvel comics that had Captain America "helping people cover Cable's little island utopia in graffiti. Really happy, joyful, patriotic graffiti" and that sounds really cute to me, and I'd like to read it, but my google-fu is failing me.

Does anyone else know what issue(s) these are, so I can read them?

If you have any other plot thread search questions, feel free to ask!

So, according to you they must stick to the original metaphor. Why?

You're saying the origin story is that Godzilla resulted from an atomic bomb dropped to fight Godzilla?

By Hollywood standards I suppose. Although yeah I think it's ridicilous to claim that she's overweight but there you go.

Where did fawnlock come from? Some AUs are understandable (Smauglock, for example), but I don't quite get this one; certainly not how it's common enough to be a "thing".

You picked a rather extreme example, though. That background pic is almost Liefeldian.

Oh, give over. I don't pay attention to celebs very much either. Just because someone isn't interested in Hollywood doesn't mean they never pay attention to anything at all.

I kind of like the way my eyes/eyelashes look.

And I've been told me hair looks pretty when it's down, but I personally find it to be annoying when I wear it like that. |D (I know I could cut my hair again, but I like having long hair- I haven't really had long hair for seven years or so)

What's that manga?
