I don't even care who Ivanova is in a relationship with. I just want her being badass and awesome all of the time. As long as whatever your headcanon is preserves that element, you're all good IMO.

Another thread. Because I need to rant about group projects. I hate them. Especially when the other people don't do their own share. But even if they do, I always feel like i have ideas for the way I want this to go and I end up wanting to do all the work. I guess I can see the point of them, but they are still annoying. Especially when that's the only assignment in a class.

I love reading the Starsky and Hutch zines online that still have the art attached. It feels so... nostalgic, even though the era of zines was well before my time in fandom. (What fic is that image from? It's looks familiar, but I read so many s/h zines recently.)

I don't really like art with fics, though. Most of the time the fic is better than the art. (Except for that one time I started reading a Merlin AU fic because the art was amazing, but the fic just didn't interest me.)

This is also very true. Ivanova is awesome and badass no matter who she's with. I admit that I also want her to be happy because she always seemed to get the worst of everything, but being her awesome self is perfect on its own.

I thought part of the reason it was popular was a combination of a story focusing on a sister-sister relationship, messages that love at first sight is dumb, and a main character (especially a lady) who could easily be interpreted as queer.

(Dang, I still have to see this movie. Yikes.)

Not really a gold digger. He started out following Dany because he was promised that he'd be allowed to return from exile. And then he became loyal to her/fell in love with her/whatever. I don't think he's ever really been interested in money especially.

Does anybody who is in the know/regularly reads DW news know if they are making any progress towards switching notification settings back to where you can get email notifs without also getting inbox notifs? My inbox is for PMs, damn it :(

It's getting really annoying to go back and clean it out, and I keep not checking it and missing PMs that people send me. :/

I don't think it's that weird or uncommon. Most mainstream porn I've seen is incredibly dull, regardless of what floats your boat. I'm not too keen on watching random people I don't know have sex, even if they are very pretty (and they're usually not my type).

There's also what a friend of mine called the HD problem. You don't necessarily want to see someone's pores or ingrown pubes or what have you. Sometimes a step back from complete realism, be it art or writing or even soft-focus, is hotter (and closer to what actual sex is like) than what porn shows, if that makes sense.

Because it bored me to tears. I even tried rewatching it before and after I saw The Winter Soldier, and I just can't. And it bored me so much, it soured me to his character. When the Avengers came out I warmed up to him enough to read all the Loki/Steve fic I could find.
