Oh hell no. I can't deal with sad endings in any story.

Can be as long as you want, but try to make it a passage, not a whole scene or many paragraphs.

Bah. The Arishok was one of my favs from DA2 (so much that I stopped playing when I saw Act II was going to make me either kill him or betray Isabella), so this kills any lingering interest I might have had about playing DAI.

(I was actually more interested in seeing Qunari females anyhow.)

I don't vouch for quality, since that's totally subjective all I can really say is that I really enjoy this, but when I'm down, I like to read W-Juliet by Emura. It's a fluffy true love conquers all problems (and so does hard work!) manga about a boy who dresses as a girl (for plot reasons) and a girl that people mistake for a boy who fall in love and want to be actors. It's cute, silly, and even when things are terrible, they all work out for the best within a couple of chapters at most.

Sometimes I listen to depressing music for that purpose. It's hella cathartic.

I feel like I'm alone in this. Every other fan seems to hate it when friends or couples have a big fight or misunderstanding, even when it's not OOC and doesn't drag on too long. But I love it. I feel like seeing them seriously fight and then make up highlights the depth of their relationship.

I will agree that the noses are a bit similar in shape, but nasal casting isn't worth snot.

Kind of. I do that a lot when I'm already sad and want a catalyst to make myself sadder so I can cry it out.

I don't think your interpretation necessarily holds any more water than that of Gwyndolin being a trans girl or cis. There isn't a lot to go off of so any of these can be argued in a way that makes sense. I do find yours intriguing, though, and can understand your frustration at certain fans holding one interpretation more valid than others and attacking anyone who thinks otherwise (which is weird for a game like this where SO MANY THINGS can be viewed differently).

I don't know anything about him as a person. I just know he makes pretty movies.

Either ones that are about friendship, or are technically romantic but so non-explictly so that they could apply to friendship as well.

That's actually really tough. Almost all of the scenes I find burning hot are somewhat lacking without the buildup and context.
