Prompts for a non-modern canon

I'd like to write a fic for a slash pairing but I'm stumped on inspiration. Does anyone have some good prompts that aren't set in modern day (preferably prompts that aren't too plot-heavy)?

Or does anyone have a good site that has imagine-your-OTP with prompts that aren't focused on modern-day stuff? (My fandom is fantasy not futuristic.)

Oh, well, in that case...

The couple:
have to work together on some canon related mystery or defeat a big bad?
are trapped somewhere together?
meet-up accidentally looking for [quest item] and decide to work together?
place an ad for a quest partner and the other responds?
finds the other in dire straights (everything stolen by bandits!) and decides to help out?
both kidnapped by slavers, bounty hunters, whatever, and work together to escape?

Penal colony AU? You can either go historical or fantasy with it and it's not quite as restrictive as an all out prison AU.

How did their rivalry start?

I honestly didn't notice it until that day when Dethtoll accused Herpy of being his stalker or Fedora!Anon. But it was obvious from the convo that their antipathy went back farther than that.

The only other spat I saw was the more recent one in which Dethtoll spoiled a movie Herpy recommended and they argued and Deathtoll called Herpy a dildo.

It's hilarious, but I just want to know how it started!

Work Out question

Okay, so I recently started going to the gym and trying to get my health back on track. I'm still in the "oh god everything hurts" phase. So, last night I slipped and pulled something in my back and leg. Today I tried to lighten my workout a bit, but maybe not enough? Ever since I went to the gym this morning my back has been spasming.

So my question is, how do I know what is too much and what is just normal pain of starting to work out? I have a hard time figuring it out, especially because I tend to bring my Ipod and zone out and push past the point of pain.

What actors are cheap version of other actors?

Questions Regarding Social Services

In summary, I know someone (relative, if it matters) who has very neglected kids who are neglected to the point SS will take them away if they can catch them. Atm they are in a location that SS is unaware of.

-Father is an alcoholic/druggie, unemployed, on probation, has history of abuse
-Mother is verbally-abusive, also on probation, "recovering" alcoholic, works very low-paying job
-Kids (2) are both under 3 years old, are constantly filthy (rarely bathe/are bathed), eat convenience store food that is not suitable diets for children their age, both are developmentally-challenged (parents constantly yell at them and don't try to teach them simple things most children learn around that age)

I know their location and they are unlikely to move within the near future. My questions are:

1. Should I report their location and
2. If so, how could I go about reporting them via web? I'm too afraid to via phone.
