45> While I am female myself, I hate that. Specifically, I hate the stereotypes, especially the weepy uke one. Grow a set of balls or breasts, geez... ~_~;; Slash does have a different dynamic than het or femslash, but I'd go further and say that every couple has a different dynamic. It's not cool to jam characters into the same tired pattern.

46> The only misogyny I've experienced is when my friend said, "I think girls are worse at shooting games." and "I think guys are worse at RPGs." He meant genetically. I didn't argue much with him, but it was sexist like woah. >I He based his assumption on the girls he knew, but that's only a small sample! There are girls who can kick ass at FPS, and guys who are teh awesome at RPGs.

49> Sometimes I wonder if people would slash it if Sweeney Todd and Judge Turpin weren't played by Mr. Depp and Mr. Rickman. I keep thinking of the broadway version, how Mr. Hearn was anything but bishie (not ugly, though), and the Judge was old. Would the fangirls still slash them? I mean, think about it. It would give an extra dimension to why he left Sensui's group, and why he got tormented at his school. If he also had AIS and was raised as a girl until he asserted himself and the genetic tests came back showing he had XY chromosomes...more reason the kids would have tormented him, for coming back in the new term in the boys' uniform*.

*Usually, in Japan, K-12 kids can only legally change to the other gender's uniform and have school records in the new gender if they have an intersex condition.

79. HOMG THIEF AND THE COBBLER. I rented it once and watched it like nineteen times over five days. It was just so awesome and fun, but I dunno what happened to it since I can't find it anywhere anymore. :(

5. Entitlement much? I read and adored four of the six up there (YYH not as much tho) and although the newest manga are tldr doesn't make the old ones better. >_>

12. I'm glad the show doesn't feel preachy to you, and I love this show so much. I'm a loose Catholic but yeah this helped me believe more in that higher power. And I love that I can cry at the end of every episode (and not cause someone died or it was sad).

60 - Yeah. That's kind of the point. You shouldn't take the games HOMG SERIOUSLY but neither should you completely dismiss them as lulzy. The best way is to take them like you'd take a Bond movie - laugh at the bad dialogue, laugh at the cool dialogue, yell at the villain, laugh at the arm, cheer when things explode, but cry when the girl dies and get scared when the characters are in danger.

65 - I have to comment because I saw the line going from Barret to Cloud. I LOVE YOU, WHOEVER YOU ARE.
