Sort of agree, but only because anything that black men affects black women much much worse. If there was a problem affecting exclusively black men, I don't know if it would really bother me, but thinking about this is like working out how to treat a unicorn wound.

The amount that big companies have been relying on sequels and spin-offs lately annoys me.

Also people who criticize mainstream entertainment for not being inclusive, but do nothing to support small time creators who made the sort of thing they're looking for are fake and gay.

(It also annoys me how small time creators, webcomics especially, focus on how queer their characters are like it's the only selling point that matters or aspect about the characters that is worthwhile. Basically, I really do want lesbian space pirates, but they gotta be fun characters first.)

I think ultra-liberals who shame women for reading and enjoying things like Twilight and 50 Shades, and treating those women like dumb idiots who are too stupid to separate fantasy and reality and have no idea what rape is, are really the 21st century version of anti-porn puritans. They are slut-shaming, kink-shaming, and treating women like idiots.

I absolutely do not like either book - they aren't gay enough for me - but seriously, dollar romance novels have had worse in them. Sure, let's have conversations about what consent means, but let people read whatever dumb sex fantasies they want to read.

I really hate animated movies with bird characters where the birds use their wings like hands/arms. That's not how wings/feathers work.

Vaguely related, I also hate it when animated movies/picture books/toys portray crows and ravens with yellow beaks. Or portray them as stupid. It's both so inaccurate it hurts.

When I was little, I had a tiny fishtank and would buy one or two of those cheap little fish from the pet store for it every so often. I'd almost always forget to feed it after a few days and not care when it died because I'd just get another one. Whenever I think about it, I still feel so guilty and terrible for all the fish I made suffer and die. Sometimes I cry about it. I was young, like I said, but I don't think I was too young to know better.

My friends all think I hate Marceline (I don't) because I ship Finn/Bubblegum (I don't), but the truth is that I can't deal with any episode with her in it because my favorite camgirl uses her as a persona, so my mind is instantly filled with hardcore masochistic orgasms and Niagara Falls sprouts up between my legs. All the rape threads we have here that all have (I'm assuming) the same few people talking about how it's literally the worst thing that can ever happen to a person (genuinely worse than death) make me feel all the more alienated and weird regarding my own rape.

It was awful, but I got over it. Like...it didn't end my life. But people acted like it should have. People got mad because I wasn't acting like it ended my life. It was everyone else's reactions that traumatized me, not the actual rape itself.

I'm still working through that, and the reactions surrounding it remind me so much of what people put me through that it definitely takes me a couple of steps backwards in my progress. :/
