When I watched it, I took it to be about feeling really awkward when stuck talking to someone who loves small talk, when inevitably there are people near me having an animated conversation. Then as soon as I manage to get away and go to those people, their conversation stops being funny or interesting.

However, some people in the comments think it's about awkward people who bore you. What do you think? I didn't come away with that at all.

I lost control in college, and never regained it. Damn freeflowing ice cream in the dining halls. Also very sedentary.

But I have friends who say they were raised on big portions and guilted into never leaving plates empty, and that's how it happened.

So, who does it? Any luck? What's your sexuality, and does that affect anything?

I moved to a new city a couple of months ago, and work has kept me so busy I haven't had time to really develop a social life. So I pulled out the old Tinder.

Not my first time using it, but I'm also a woman who basically only dates women (I admit, I've taken a guy home once or twice on my drunkest nights, but I don't think I've been on a date with a guy since high school). I'm chatting with some girls, but starting to get bi-curious for guys again. So I turn on guys, too, and like lol for one, shit there's so many compared to the gay girl scene, and for another, I'm kind of embarrassed looking at their profiles, 99% of guys suck at picking a flattering picture of themselves. I guess it's the gay thing, but also suddenly, I realize I've added conservative God-fearing guys who want a sweet submissive girl into my playing field. When you're a lesbian looking for chicks, it's kind of assumed everyone is a liberal feminist. I also remembered that I hate gender roles, in gay relationships you can just be whatever without any assumptions.

Still, I kind of want to romance a pretty boy for awhile, but like literally I've never used apps/sites for heterosexual dating so I feel totally out of touch with what the game is like.

Anyone had any luck lately using Tinder/OKCupid/etc?
