13. Oh my lord, yes. Apparently, to be respected in any way on the internet, you have to know everything about the current events (and be a history buff) and how they relate to fandom and every once in a while, you've got to pick an issue (feminism, environmentalism, racism, etc.) and write about how X series relates to it. Uhhh come on, can't we have ANYTHING that's purely fun?

Honestly, I have a lot more fun using fandom stuff to remember my neurobiology homework than any sort of social critique.

54. Why lose faith in Atlus over Yukari? (I personally like Yukari, but I will admit she has a few less than desirable traits.)

Atlus has a broad range of female characters; Yukari is to be put in context with Mitsuru, Fuuka, Chiaki, Argilla, Angel, Tae... all with very different personalities, goals, and outlooks. Women are different. That's reality. And there are plenty of women out there like Yukari - that's who she represents. Flawed characters are realistic.

See, I'm absolutely nothing like Yukari either, and I don't mind her a bit. I have to wonder why there are so many people who fervently hate her; perhaps, unlike me, they see in her flaws something that hits a little too close to home.

I've only read up to volume 14 (watched up to 14 or so), and I don't ship anything except Lussuria/Ryohei, and I don't see the basis for any of the really popular pairings at all.

Not secret 1 - FUCK YOU AND DIE. Why the hell are Christians always getting picked on? I mean, seriously now, I'm a Christian, serious about it, and I like yaoi and I curse and I'm serious about my religion, and I'm serious about my fandoms. There is no reason Christians can't be a part of fandom. Would you say the same thing about Jewish people, or Buddhists, or agnostics, or any other religion? Or is it just Christianity that's got you being a fuckwit? Seriously, this secret shows that you're just as bad, if not worse, than the small amount of Christians/Catholics you're bitching about.

1 - Yeah, it's nice to see a sexy girl character who isn't falling over. :P

7 - I'm in the middle of WEWY, but already I'm ready to ship Neku/Joshua. *le sigh*

8 - YAY!

11 - I love Kaze Hikaru. I was so pissed when SB got rid of it. I think it's that most fangirls get turned off by the whole history lesson, but I thought it was really great and emotionally moving.

12 - Just say what you think about whatever fandom you want to get into. Search LJ for communities for the fandom. It's pretty easy, really.

13 - Such agreement (although I was so in my own small fandoms pre-blogging).

14 - I dislike Bela. Especially what they did with the most recent episode--they had to give her a sob story backstory to give her character some meaning. She would have been better off without it.

29 - Ah, a spoiler. How sad. ;_;

30 - Vampire Knight is really highly overrated.

31 - That really sucks. But it's not your fault. You were just being into your fandom; you can't be blamed even slightly for his death.

32 - Hm. Haine never really made a good impression on me. Also, since she has the same name as Haine from DOGS, the confusion was awful.

34 - And Kaworu! Where's the Kaworu love? Eva rocked BECAUSE the characters were sick and twisted, read: realistic.

35 - LOL. They so totally didn't though.

37 - I wish I could say the same thing. I always want to be the first in a fandom, but I never am. I'm always, like months-years behind everyone else. I'll be the first in the fandom for my own books, although that doesn't even count.

39 - Nana/Hachi should be canon. I will not pick up Nana again until someone tells me it is so.

40 - Hyrule is so beautiful. I wish Earth still looked something like that. ;_;

42 - Ed is a serious love of mine. Serious. His whole story is so compelling and angst-ful. I love him to death. And that fanart is HAWT, but where'd you get it? There's no cite. ;_;

43 - *pats on the head* There, there.

45 - LOLZ! I really didn't like him until way into the series, and not at all in the anime. My one regret about Furuba is that Yuki and Kakeru should have been canon. Le sigh.

46 - New SJ sucks ass.

31. Only advice I can give you is don't blame yourself. You didn't know the circumstances. Yeah, it was kinda shitty, but you didn't KNOW any of it. There were a lot of factors aside from your and your friends' actions.

11. Someone's who a Kaze Hikaru fan like ME!!! It sucks when I hear fangirls ditching it because it's dull because no real 'action' happens in it. It's educational yet brings on a strong, detailed, great story. I like the deceptively simple and clean artwork and Sei is one of the best shoujo heroines around. Yes, it deserves a fandom, but I think it bring history-heavy would scare most people away.

And my god, if it has a LJ comm, direct me to it, PLEASE.

12. There's no real science to be a fan. It just happens, really.

15. The show is already brain-breaking enough, but it would be lulzy if Ebichu was a guy. I mean, those scene with that guy in love with her would be 10x lulzier. Oh, Ebichu, you raped whatever innocence I had left in me watching your show back in my college animu club.

30. Nah, MeruPuri is a nice title, but it's very, very generic even more so than Vampire Knight.

35. Nah, Sophie might as kissed him, but she wouldn't sleep with a 15 year old boy, especially when she's in love with Alex. Besides that scene in 16 was pretty right after that happened.

46. I don't miss DB and YYH for sure. Meh, I moved on and don't be surprised that people do too.Shounen Jump didn't change all that much if you look at the big picture, it always followed trends. But I would kill for another historical Jump title like Kenshin though.

57. Really? Outside of the whole "friendship is above all" aspect of their personalities, Tai and Tsuna can be anymore different. Tai was courageous, spoke his mind when he wanted to, and can be a bit too much and very immature. Tsuna was a coward for a big part of the series, he would only be courageous if his friends' life were on the line. Now Tsuna is a lot more braver now and has a goal, he's still an awkward teen. Maybe it's the hair. It's always the hair.

34. THANK YOU! I can't seem to put my love for those characters into words, or at least not the right ones. Hideaki Anno is amazing--about the time I realised that I felt sorry for Gendou Ikari, I started to realise that every single character in that series--fucked up, pathetic, twisted or cruel--seemed to represent some part of my self that I didn't want to look at or admit to. And I love them for it.

They were totally meant to be. I actually cried the first time I saw the episode where she died (I'm not very much older than this show is, and actually, the pilot episode aired about a year before I was born, so I didn't get into it until I was about ten, by which time she'd been dead for a while and they were showing reruns on TNT).
