50. i'm not 18 but, god, i can relate. for as long as i can remember, i've been obsessed with peter pan and my immaturity is going to be the end of me. it's not even so much that i'm immature, it's just i don't want the responsibilities of growing up and i live in this permanent state of nostalgia. every time i pass an elementary school playground, i just get this feeling. watching old disney movies - same story.

6. That movie is really powerful, for all that I think a lot of people just discard it as a sci-fi action flick. I don't think a lot of people I know really get a lot out of it, but somehow, just that last line gets me every time.

18. You know what your problem is? You probably haven't watched it when drunk. No. Really. When you're drunk, Gundam 00 is way too wordy. It's too boring. You can't really use "gundam" as a drinking game cue as well. 0079 is better, but those awful yellow subs are impossible to read when things get a little blurry. Stuff takes too long to happen.

No, when you're drunk, you need GUNDAM FUCKING WING. Nothing else is absurd, nostalgic, and retarded enough for the sort of amazing mileage you can get out of that show. The whole queen of the world thing? Genius. Relena and Heero's long aching stares? Hysterical. Everything that makes it a rather sub-par Gundam series overall makes it much, much better to watch when you're drunk off your ass than any other show in the series, except perhaps G Gundam, which I would be afraid to watch while drunk, to be honest. Though, I'd like to note that while yes, while Zechs isn't as cool as Char, he's still cooler than most of those prepubescent main characters.


49. (don't usually get any use out of my gundam wing icon. \o/) The Wing ED TERRIFIES ME. I had to hide from it when I was watching it drunk (see above secret reply). What the hell is Relena even doing with those animals?


63. Personally, the Geass fandom is getting squealy and rabid enough for my tastes, thank you. It was a lot more civil and calm last season.


82. Amen, though the walkthrough isn't enough, imo. It's not that hard to play an emulator of it if you really want to write fanfiction. What's bad is that you can almost always tell, too - people think they're really clever and that no one notices their slips, but that's because when I read a fic that references Pres. ShinRa's death as happening at the wrong point or in the wrong way, I just hit the back button rather than leave a scathing review.

Het fans are just vastly outnumbered by slash fans, so they really can't influence what is deemed popular in fandom. It's rare to find equilibrium in fandom. D:
