Pets aren't that big a deal for me. I mean, my friend talked his sister into naming her kitten Kamina and she's never even watched anime, let alone Gurren Lagann. It's when people start naming their kids after fandom characters that I start getting a bit worried. My assistant manager at work was telling me how her niece named her son Quatre, and I just kind of had a "D:" look on my face the whole time.
