If you need to spend the money quickly buy an album on Google Play Music? They're usually in the 10-12$ range and you can download the MP3s to your computer.

You could also buy some movies too, though I personally would probably just get a year subscription to Headspace.
Most of my apps are free.

I wish I had some to share! I feel like such a clueless Luddite with apps. My phone is a dumb phone and I don't want to put apps on the smart phone I have for work (since it's not actually mine) but my parents gave me a Samsung tablet for Christmas and I have no idea what to do with it beside browsing the web.

I'd like to put some games on there - mostly just things like Solitaire or Hearts and maybe a crossword game, and I'm willing to pay for one without adds, but I'd want the graphics to look nice and for everything to be big enough to be playable on a touch screen, and there doesn't seem to be any way to preview that and all the reviews are really unhelpful. I guess these things are not so expensive that I can't just try them out - no big loss if I hate it and delete it - but that seems like more work than the old days of going down to the software store at the mall.

FB Reader, Kobo, Nook, or Kindle if you do ebooks. FB Reader is probably best if you do non-DRM stuff (or *cough* strip DRM for archival purposes).

A password manager is a must these days, for any device.

I've also got sucked into cheesy romance visual novels lately.

I broke my toe today. The one next to my pinky toe. It hurts like hell, is swollen, and a bit misaligned. I don't have insurance so not going to the doctor. Should I tape it up to my other toe or leave it be?

I'm planning to do some backpacking this summer, and I'd like to start a travel blog to document it, (pictures accompanied by stories style). Does anyone have any sites to recommend that would be good for that? Tumblr?

As the comment above points out, Dreamwidth will do that.

I personally have a long-time travel blog set up at blogger.com. It has the advantages of integrating with Google, which I find useful when it comes to using my photos in my posts, as my photos are also stored on Google.

Wordpress is also one of the primary blogging platforms.

So it seems that the courts here are in the dark ages. Because I tried to sign up as a court appointed public defender. But they require a fax number in addition to an email. They send stuff by email but they still require the fax for some reason. And while I have a fax machine someone is willing to give me, we don't have a second phone line. And my parents aren't willing to pay for the online fax services, which I totally get. Argh, though. This would be a way to get both experience and a little money. So frustrating.

Islam and Freemasonry
Many Islamic anti-Masonic arguments are closely tied to both antisemitism and Anti-Zionism, though other criticisms are made such as linking Freemasonry to Al-Masih ad-Dajjal (the false Messiah). Many countries with a majority Muslim population do not allow Masonic establishments within their borders. However, countries such as Turkey and Morocco have established Grand Lodges, while in countries such as Malaysia and Lebanon there are District Grand Lodges operating under a warrant from an established Grand Lodge.

In Pakistan in 1972, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, then Prime Minister of Pakistan, placed a ban on Freemasonry. Lodge buildings were confiscated by the government.

Masonic lodges existed in Iraq as early as 1917, when the first lodge under the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE) was opened. Nine lodges under UGLE existed by the 1950s, and a Scottish lodge was formed in 1923. However, the position changed following the revolution, and all lodges were forced to close in 1965. This position was later reinforced under Saddam Hussein; the death penalty was "prescribed" for those who "promote or acclaim Zionist principles, including freemasonry, or who associate [themselves] with Zionist organisations."
