138 - I kinda agree...
140 - I call it daydreaming.

113. Fuck YEAH :D I don't care if I'm unco as hell, DDR FTW!

140. Don't worry, we've all done it at times ^_^ (And for some reason, the grouping of pictures at point one has made my brain insist that Mohinder be the next companion. What the fuck, brain?)

128, 140, 159,

128. UK titles ARE way better. American ones are too commercialised...

140. Haha me too, and think of random siuations and think about what they would do if they were in them lol

159. They ARE really similar LOL

134

I can't believe someone else on this planet finds "Jumping Jack Flash" one of the most romantic movies EVAH.

He better have taken her on a whirlwind cruise around the world that lead to more wacky spy adventures, that's all I have to say.

128

[identity profile] kathkin.livejournal.com 2008-07-19 12:40 pm (UTC)(link)
128. The American titles are fail. They've both lost the meaning of the UK titles.

150

150. What is it? I recognise it, but my brain has shut down...

I can't even understand how anyone couldn't like Andrew Bird. Like, I can't wrap my mind around it. He's the gentlest creature on earth. Tell your crappy friends to see him live -- his live shows are some of the most moving I've ever seen. Also, his fans are the greatest! (Not that I'm biased.)

168

Belated, but IAWTS as well, yes~

OMG I LOVE YOU!

128. Ia, I found out the HP one and I was like "now it actually makes sense!"

158. Looks white? Err, no, she's pretty obviously from a mixed ethnic background. Skin tone, eye color, facial structure all unite to say that this isn't your "generic white chick."

164. Go for it. It'd be hard to be as bad as those two.

113, 117, 123, 140, 172

[identity profile] beandelphiki.livejournal.com 2008-07-19 03:30 pm (UTC)(link)
113. I'm not sure why anyone would feel the need to compare them, honestly. But as I'm not coordinated enough to play DDR (as in, I can barely pass a single song on the DDR game I have), plus the fact that I have respiratory issues that DDR tends to aggravate, I have to say that GH is my preferred game by far.

117. I like DONNA! There we go! (Watch this get, "yay, platonic companion!" responses...)

123. Basically, you're just an asshole. People have had plenty of good things to say to you if you ever pull your head out of your butt long enough to consider them. But given your general attitude in comments, that seems unlikely. So me, I'm not going to bother. Have fun feeling like you're just too intelligent for the rest of us.

140. You seem to have House part-way between 5 and 4, which makes me think you've pegged him as a 5w4, which bugs me slightly, as he's CLEARLY a 5w6. (Or maybe I'm reading too much into that, and you were just trying to make it all fit? Erm...plus a dominant 6-wing would fit his background with his abusive father.) Wilson is totally a 2w3.

The Doctor...hadn't thought about it, but yeah, type one fits. I'm torn now between 1w9 and 1w2, as either could potentially work, but I think 1w2 might be the better fit. Haven't thought enough about the Master to be able to say what I think of your placement there.

IN OTHER WORDS, yes, that's fun. LOL.

172. I was only idly watching this show until Nine regenerated into Ten, and I'm not even SLIGHTLY ashamed to say so. Why not? Because goddammit, I had school and work, and all of House fandom to keep up with already when my friends got me into Doctor Who. I'm fine with the fact that I only really got into Who for shallow reasons; I was busy, it had to be worth my while.

That said, if this is STILL the only reason you're watching, I think you're missing out. I mean, you could be getting more out of it. Or you could watch something else that he's been in which would mean more to you. *shrugs*

Wow, must be "let's make Runaways fandom look bad despite the fact it's better than half the fandoms out there" week.

Also? People have the right to like whatever characters they want.

Why the holy fuck do you think that someone's first story is going to be a heartbreaking magnificent piece of literature anyway? That's not how it works.

[identity profile] funkillsexdeath.livejournal.com 2008-07-19 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
I always thought that fandom was for the perpetuation of silly in-jokes and elaborately justified Grand Unified Theories about things like "due South, Metal Gear Solid, and the X-men movies all take place in the same universe." That, and chibi fanart of people/things never meant to be cute.

Lul, two Twilight hate secrets in a day. Beautiful, truly, it is. Someone else can see the light!

I liked Winry better in the anime, but that's considering that I hate her regardless of what form she's in. She's still over hyper and has those fucked up, horrible, unfunny moodswings in the anime as well. I hold out hope that Ling might get a small OVA, since he's my favorite character and I get myself hot thinking about him.

Lululululululul Kaizer. He is hot stuff. I like his whip.

The one day when I have more than four secrets to comment on, and it's the day my connection dies.

106. I made no such promise, but damn, the ending sure made me extremely reluctant to play Persona 3 again.

120. I enjoyed both the manga and anime, but I like the manga more because virtually all of the characters have a certain degree of significance, have expanded backstories and do kickass things.
That being said, the anime has Bratja going for it. How awesome is that?

123. There are always people who want more serious discussions, but I find that they tend to lurk in fandom communities, so...

132. Me too, but I don't care as long as she's awesome.

145. Don't feel too bad about it! What we feel isn't always what we actually want to say to that person, and it does take a lot of courage to stand up to your friends.

136

[identity profile] doumyoujitsukas.livejournal.com 2008-07-19 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I second that.

156

[identity profile] ann89103.livejournal.com 2008-07-19 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I've seen both films now, and I preferred Hellboy. The new Batman film only come alive when the villains are onscreen.

102. WORD. ;D 128. I know! It annoys me so much when people say Sorcerer's Stone instead of Philosopher's Stone. -_-;

141. Horray for Michael Bluths in this world! Though really Jason Bateman's quite a jerk in real life. =X

172. Umm.... ^^;
