151. Well, I’d personally disagree that she has no personality at all (I think that she does have a little, but not very much). But I do wish that she was developed more. However, I’m not going to completely give up hope yet nor am I going to have too much hope for her because we don’t really know what the game designers are going to do with her in the later games (and I'll say the same for any character).

114. A lot of it is, and a lot of it isn't. Fanfiction is, in fact, an excuse for all kinds of things!

123. Why can't it be all three? In my experience, it is. Of course, that varies from fandom to fandom and age group to age group, but I do think that fans are often fans because whatever they're fanning over helps them to understand the world around them. Maybe that doesn't translate to complex issues of morality or life and death to everyone, but it's much more "worthy" than plain old squeeing.

I do absolutely agree that it's about embracing and understanding humanity. Thanks for the secret, I am glad to see someone like-minded. PLease don't lose hope.

And the thing I don't get is how you can have a 'ship war between the Doctor/Rose and the Doctor/Martha when one is canon and one is not (but then, I'm generally not a huge fan of 'shipping non-canon pairings - there are exceptions, of course - so maybe that's just me). 'Ship wars are usually ridiculous, it's true. In my mind, they shouldn't even exist in the Doctor Who fandom. As far as Martha vs. Rose, this is again a stupid, stpuid thing. I like 'em both (okay, I like Martha and I love Rose, but still). To all the Rose fans who dislike Martha: she's not a "threat"; she's just a good friend to the Doctor. That should always be remembered. But I totally get where you're coming from, so well said.
