bb, i appreciate the sentiment, but comics are a medium, not a genre. yes, it's maddening that people dismiss an entire genre , but at the same time, it's annoying when people conflate comics to just superheroes or w/e (and this is coming from someone whose comics reading is like, 85% superheroes).

I can't say it's better, but I'd rather watch it a million times then DK once. Sure HB2 was campy and a bit draggy, but it's free from all the things I personally cannot stand about the new Batman movies. It's too much to go into here, but I just want to back you up.

I'm backing this up, too. HB2 made me laugh until I cried, but in a good way because there was real humor going on in it. And, hey, campy=not a bad thing at all. Dark Knight will probably be awesome, but HB2 is definitely my favorite movie I've seen all summer.
