131. I think the art is good, but very simple. Then again, I don't think art needs to be complex (visually) to be good. I still wish I could draw as well as Kishimoto, even though Naruto is only interesting once or twice every hundred chapters or so now (it makes me so sad). What gives me hope looking at Naruto is that if someone can keep a story going and going strong with such a diluted plot (IMHO, of course) for so long, maybe my stories have a chance out there. =D

While Bateman may be my favourite character ever, if you take the time to think about it, Dexter is much more calm and calculating and would have the upper hand over Bateman's fits psychotic of rage. Bateman is also almost on some type of drug that would hinder his reflexes. Seriously, have you read the book at all?

I'm an art student too, and I took a perspective drawing class last year that really made me appreciate Kishimoto's use of perspective in every frame. Seriously...some of the perspectives he sets up are really time-consuming to draw! He's got some technical skillz. Other than that, style is always subjective...so I can't tell you whether or not to like the style, but I like it, personally.

171. I KNOW D: An injustice was done when they released that "SAVE OUR NEIGHBORHOOD" movie, which was basically just a long episode, instead of The Jungle Movie. 188: I didn't like it either, and I did tell my gay friends. The movie WAS too long. It was originally a short story. I think if it had been a lot shorter, I would have liked it much better. It was WAY too drawn out. I did get bored. A lot of the movie's success was because it was mainstream actors in a serious love film between men, like you say. It was important in that it crossed that line so that homosexuals became more than the comic relief in movies, but it could have been better. I'll be happy to never see it again.

104. It's not out of the ordinary at all for young women to use lube. Some do. Some don't. I think that in fic, very few authors mention it for the same reason most of them don't mention condoms or other kinds of birthcontrol, and couples rarely actually have to communicate what they like or don't like. Because right or wrong, that much realism messes up the fantasy. Lube gets mentioned more often in slash only because not mentioning it is more than a little cringe worthy for a lot of people. Listen to the people here--this is just another detail where fictional sex rarely reflects real sex.

Idk umm... I know some people think it's boring, but I don't think people wouldn't care if they were heterosexual is because... if they were heterosexual, the whole prejudiced thing wouldn't happen, so they'd just be angsty over nothing, which would be ridiculous. If it was a hetero... idk, interracial couple or something else that was really frowned upon in that location and time, then it would make sense, but yeah, no one would give a shit about a random heterosexual couple because it would make the major plot points moot.

But then again I love the book too, so maybe that's just me.

135 - Same here. Though at first I was a bit angry because I hoped Luna would end up with Harry or Neville, but a pairing with Dean could have had a lot of potential, too. But hey, it is not printed in the book that Luna got together with someone random, Rowling only said that in an interview, so... I'll pretend she is with Dean and Dumbledore is still hetero.

137 - He seriously was hard to understand. I had to rent the DVD and put on the subtitles to understand half of the film. It was much better when I did.

148 - I'm trying to remain as unspoiled as I can be, having gone to the Comic-Con panel for SPN, and I'm usually mildly annoyed(?) when I get spoiled, as I'm really good about avoiding anything with a tag that says spoilers, but I shake it off and move on. So therefore I can't understand how people can be so rude when people inadvertently spoil them, because you're right, it's the internet, and not everyone puts things behind a cut, or uses spoiler tags, or even puts non-spoilery things in the title/subject line.

165 - WORD. He hates Edward so much, and I want to see if it bleeds into his character, or Robert really is that kick ass to make it not at all obvious.
