You're right about it being a relatively mediocre season. It still can be very funny, but God, it used to be SO much better! Loved the bunny suit, but the episode itself wasn't that great. The best this season were the Stephen Fry one and the Germaine Greer one. By far.

That said.. it's still a pretty damn awesome show ;-)

107./ Still, it sucks that this person's fandom is being judged based off of the crappiest example of that genre simply because the crappy thing is so popular. Maybe their friends aren't into the genre. Maybe their friends would like the genre if they read a decent example of it. Except, they'll never know because they're too busy thinking anything with vampires and romance is like Twilight, and that's a shame. I've read a lot of good books that were the same genre as books I've hated. I'd have missed out on a lot of good books if I'd let, oh say, Harry Potter ruin youth fantasy series for me.
