101: I feel that way, too! It's really weird for me; I have to spend a lot of time, like... getting to "know" the characters in my head and spending a lot of time making sure that I feel like it's okay for them to be "mine", too, just so I can write some shitty fics rofl. If I don't spend that time reassuring myself that it's okay, that I'm allowed to play with them, then I'm just not able to write anything and it feels so unbearably awkward.

Join the club, hon. I've been there since 19-freaking-95 when he was still on Power Rangers. :P I wouldn't have gotten into some of the anime and games I've gotten into if it weren't for Johnny, from Trigun to Bleach to Eureka Seven and more, and I've been grateful for being able to continue following the career of my favorite PR alumni for so long.

And I too have always been sick of everyone bashing him, especially for being "in everything." He's "in everything" because he's good at what he does; with how dubbing has greatly improved in quality over the past 10-15 years, they wouldn't keep him around if they didn't think he was any good!

I honestly wish that Zetsubou Sensei were a serious anime because Nozomu Itoshiki is SUCH a tragic, yet kind and loving character that you wish that he could pursue some sort of happy feelings...

If it's a Farscape story that's not about the relationship and time-line wise it's further along in the series and they're following canon? The show has multiple ships that still exist in every episode even if they're not the point of the episode and I wouldn't call those episodes "shippy" episodes. So technically they would still be John/Aeryn, Chiaana/D'Argo, Scorpy/Sikozu, or Zhaan/Stark. It's just how the characters interact. So in that case my definition bends.

Anyways. I sorta agree.

I know exactly the feeling, but yanno, the sandbox is /fun/. It's playtime, but you can get better as you go as well. And there's nothing stopping you writing original fic

guess what I'm trying to say in my rambly and completely incoherent way is that you shouldn't feel bad for enjoying youself, as long as you're writing and you're working on getting better. If you have an idea for an original fic, let it develop. Just start small if you want - try writing just short original stories or scenes as they come to mind and see if you can get a bit more confidence writing original pieces like that

128. I like me some Johnny Yong Bosch. He's done a really good job in the roles I've seen him play, at least.
