How is that stupid, though? It seems to me that if a slash fan realizes they should be pro-gay rights because they think homosexuals in fiction are hot, and just fetishizing gay people without actually thinking of them as equal human beings is really, really shitty, it's a pretty good reason to support gay marriage.

136. Agreed. I tried this month to make sense and I even used the backspace button and tried to edit while writing (OH NOES). I always have. I don't see how someone can write 50,000 words of utter nonsense and feel accomplished at the end. I could do that. Everyone could.

164 - That is part of the problem. For some Gen means no romance/ship/slash at all. For others is means no romance outside of canon. Or if it is a canon romance then it should not be the focus of the story.

I think Sean is worse than House, because House is an antisocial jerk and he doesn't come out on top for the most part--he might be right, but at the end of the day, he's still miserable. Sean, on the other hand, always wins, always comes through smelling like a rose. It's almost sickening after awhile.
