101. HAHAHA, I can identify. My mother gave me a woefully incomplete Talk, and now whenever I let slip that I know more due to all my reading and internet tiems, my parents get all wigged out.

121. I keep meaning to watch that. I'm somewhat put off by the lack of female characters, though. :( But hey, that hasn't stopped me with some other shows, so I'm sure I can get into it eventually...

137. I think that so long as you write them as characters first, you should be okay. And it sounds like that's what you're doing. Besides...there are too few trans characters in fiction that are treated as actual people rather than as freaks or sources of humor.

A good show is a good show. IMO. I don't really care about the lack of females characters in fiction and I don't see why people should. A character is more than his or her sex. A character is just a medium used to tell the story. People should stop taking fandom so seriously.
